Cost Estimate Estimated reading: 2 minutes The Cost Estimate module enhances project control by integrating spatial and temporal dimensions with cost data, providing a comprehensive platform for analyses and a more holistic project management process.Besides a basic view including a cost structure, the number of elements for each item, and all available columns, there are also options to isolate elements by each cost assignment or to filter the cost structure based on selected elements.1. Navigate to Cost Estimate module. Select Cost Estimate from the drop-down menu2. By clicking on Cost Items or Cost Item Groups, the linked model elements will be selected in the Viewer3. Select elements will be automatically isolated in model view by clicking Isolate 4. To Collapse or Expand the Cost Estimate list, select the corresponding option from the toolbar5. To delete the active cost estimate version, select the Delete option6. To filter the Cost Estimate list by cost items linked to selected elements, first select the desired elements in the Viewer, then click the Filter by Selected Elements buttonThe Cost Estimate list will now display only the cost items associated with the selected elements7. Click the Cancel Filter button to restore the full Cost Estimate list8. The user can filter each Cost Items column by clicking the Filter button Note During the upload process from BEXEL Manager, users can choose which data will be visible in the Cost Estimate module in CDE. Only the active columns displayed in the BEXEL Manager Cost Estimate window will be uploaded to the CDE project. Note The currency of cost items in the Cost Estimate module is defined in the CDE Project Settings and may differ from the currency set in BEXEL Manager.
