Integrated Workflow

1. Create a federated BIM model from multiple IFC files  ➡️

2. Automatically enrich BIM model elements with data and meta-data layer by importing standardized customizable templates, from the Knowledge base, based on IFC entity or category-based ruleset, in form of a customizable Excel spreadsheet ➡️

2a. Review automatically created selection sets, where the elements are distributed, and create color-coding Custom breakdown structures from them ➡️

3. Create or import a template from the Knowledge Base and generate automated Quantity takeoffs, based on element properties, and use it as a base for the work breakdown structure for a cost classification ➡️

4. Generate cost classification with defined queries using created Quantity takeoffs as a base ➡️

5. Use templates, from the Knowledge base, based on standardized cost classification to automatically enrich cost classification

6. Fine-tune cost items directly in BEXEL Manager by adding or changing information such as daily output, quantity type, unit, unit cost, material, labor, equipment supplement, resources, or speed up the process and export created cost classification to excel for even easier editing

7. Auto-assign cost classification and generate cost estimation based on predefined rules and calculation formulas ➡️

8. Add additional expenses such as taxes, overheads, and markups directly in created cost version

9. Define projects zones (spatial organization of the project) and their relations ➡️

10. Import or create construction methodology (work sequencing) connected to BIM classification, with all defined relations ➡️

11.Combine zones and methodologies within the Creation template ➡️

12. Generate an initial schedule with all tasks and relations ➡️

13. Fine-tune and optimize the initial generated schedule with options for automatic task duration calculation and resource-leveling ➡️

14. Adjust line-of balance, check critical path, change relations

15. Analyze schedule reports and check cost and activities for the whole project or specific tasks, for selected time period

16. Create automated 4D/5D simulation to visually verify the construction schedule ➡️

17. Export federated BIM model into customized Power BI + BEXEL Viewer interactive dashboards for advanced analytics ➡️
