Takt Planning – Defining spatial properties for Task sub-division Estimated reading: 2 minutes Model properties defining the detailed spatial structure of the project could be very useful in the process of tactical planning. In BEXEL CDE user is able to manually add properties to selected elements to define sub-zoning. To implement this workflow follow these steps: 1. Select Tasks that will be added to Takt Planning Canvas2. Right-click and choose Select Elements3. Right-click in viewer choose Isolate – Selected Elements in order to isolate elements linked to selected Schedule Tasks 4. Click Add Property button (+) in Properties Tab to add new Property to the selected elements5. Define Spatial Property Name6. Choose in which Property Set it should be placed7. Define Property Type8. Property Value could be empty for now since we are adding property to all elements from Task (as recommended), specific values will be added to sub-groups of elements to sub-divide Schedule zone9. Click Create New to complete the action Note New Property should be added to all elements of selected Tasks prior to Takt Planning Canvas adding in order to avoid inconsistencies in Spatial Zone structuring of Canvas. Make sure not to have Task elements without spatial properties defined. 10. Select Sub-group of elements thet will form sub-zone11. Click on previously added location property in Properties tab, Right-click on it and choose Edit Element Properties12. Type value for custom spatial zone and click OK to complete action13. Selected elements will have newly-defined property value that could be used for sub-zones creation in Takt Planning Canvas
