The methodology is usually organized into two levels. For instance, UniFormat is often used to define the physical structure of work items, representing the first methodological level, while MasterFormat focuses on material-based segregation and serves as the second level. When the user wishes to organize the methodology into two levels, they should select the Methodology Levels option when creating the template. If the methodology is defined using only one level, the Methodology Items option will be the right choice.
The same idea applies to zones. The first zone level can reflect the spatial structure, such as the building levels, while the second level may represent how each building level is divided based on the construction sequence. In practice, it’s quite common to create a separate zone for each subdivision and then use the Zone Items option.
