Safety Issues Estimated reading: 2 minutes BEXEL CDE platform enables collaboration and communication on different issues between all project participants. Safety issues are discussed and resolved through the BCF module by addressing and commenting on problems and exchanging files between stakeholders. Creating Safety Issue 1. Isolate and/or select elements that should be reported as an issue2. Open the BCF Manager module3. Click on the + button to open the dropdown menu and select the New Issue option4. Issue editor opens. Define the issue by filling in the empty fields and selecting appropriate options from the dropdown menus5. To attach documents relevant to the created issue, hit the Documents editor button 6. In the Documents section, hit the Link Documents button to attach the appropriate documents to the created issue7. Select documents from the list and hit Link Selected Documents8. After linking relevant documents, hit the Create button in the BCF Issue editor to complete editing the issue9. Hit the Comments editor to start communication about the created issue with other participants in the project Note Files that should be linked in the documents section must be previously uploaded in the Documents module. 10. In the Comments section, write a comment and submit it by hitting the Submit Comment button11. To attach a photo/document to a comment before submitting, hit the Attach files button. Select a file from the list and hit the Confirm button12. After confirming, hit Submit Comment to send the comment with the attached file Note Files for attachment in comments section must be previosly uploaded in Documents module. Resolving Safety Issue 13. For further correspondence with stakeholders in the Comments section, continue using steps 10-1214. When the resolution of the problem is confirmed through stakeholders’ communication and document exchange, its status should be changed from Active to Resolved or Closed15.
