AI Assistant

  • Introduced the AI Assistant at the portfolio level, enabling users to ask questions across multiple projects and generate BI Analytics dashboards based on natural-language requests.
    • AI-generated dashboards respect existing user access permissions.
    • The AI Assistant is available under Home > Analytics > AI Assistant.
  • Enhanced the project-level AI Assistant with expanded capabilities for analyzing project data, interacting with documents, and creating BI Analytics dashboards.
    • Improved the creation and modification of BI Analytics dashboards, including the ability to answer questions about dashboard data and choose whether to update an existing template or create a new one.
    • Enabled the AI Assistant to combine project data and document content when answering questions, without requiring users to switch between separate modes.
    • Introduced AI-powered element selection in the 3D model based on natural-language requests and published property values.
    •
Added the ability to explore available analyses based on project data accessible to the user.
  • Introduced Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for BEXEL CDE, enabling users to securely connect their BEXEL CDE data to external AI tools, including ChatGPT and Codex, through their own AI workspaces. The integration supports authenticated access and allows users to interact with BEXEL CDE data directly within their AI-powered workflows. All existing user access rights and permissions are strictly enforced.
  • Added configurable AI Assistant usage limits for enterprise users.

BI Analytics

  • Introduced BIM Analytical Properties, enabling users to select model properties and make their values available for advanced analysis in BI Analytics dashboards and AI Assistant.
    • Added a dedicated configuration interface for selecting which BIM properties are included in analytical data, with support for numeric, text, Boolean, date/time, and other property types.
    • Introduced a new BIM Analytical Properties data source in BI Analytics, allowing selected model properties to be used in dashboards and combined with element data.
    • Analytical property values are generated for a specific project version and can be refreshed using Reload Data. Publishing or updating a project also refreshes the analytical values based on the configured properties.
    • Added warnings when dashboards display BIM Analytical Properties generated from a different project version, helping users identify outdated or mismatched analytical data. The warning remains visible until the data is refreshed.
    • Improved handling of property mappings across project versions, preserving existing mappings and highlighting properties that are no longer available in the currently selected version.
  • Expanded BCF analytical data available in BI Analytics and AI Assistant, introducing support for additional Check List and Custom Field values, including textual, Boolean, date/time, multi-select, and numeric types. Added BCF Topic Stage data to support more detailed analysis of issue progress.
  • Enabled analytics at the Task Activity and Cost Item levels, allowing users to analyze schedule and cost data at a more detailed level and create dashboards based on individual activities and cost items. This functionality is available for models published from BEXEL Manager 26.9.4.0 or newer.
  • Added Filter by Element Selection for BI Analytics dashboards using the CDE Data Source, allowing dashboard data to be filtered based on elements selected in the Viewer.
  • Added descriptions for Project and Account BI Templates, making templates easier to identify and manage.
  • Removed the previous 50-character limitation for dashboard names.

BCF

  • Introduced a new Stage field for BCF Issues, allowing users to categorize Issues using project-specific stages. Project administrators can configure available Stage values through BCF Settings, including adding, removing, enabling, disabling, and reordering stages.
  • Enhanced BCF Issue creation and Viewpoint handling:
    • Improved handling of large BCF Viewpoints when creating Issues or updating Viewpoints, introducing warning and critical thresholds for selected and visible model elements:
       – Selected elements: Warning above 1,000 elements; critical threshold above 5,000 elements.
       – Visible elements: Warning above 10,000 elements; critical threshold above 30,000 elements.
       – When thresholds are exceeded, users are informed about potential performance impacts and can choose which Viewpoint components to include. Exceeding a critical threshold requires additional confirmation through Save Anyway.
    • Improved consistency of BCF Viewpoint creation and handling between the legacy and tile-based Viewers.
    • Enabled BCF Viewpoints to be created in the tile-based Viewer without including element visibility settings.
  • Improved BCF import and export workflows:
    • Enhanced BCF import reliability by handling differences in email-address capitalization, improving error handling for Viewpoints and Snapshots, and preserving original creation and modification dates.
    • Enabled the export of BCF Issues without Viewpoints and improved feedback when exporting unsupported BCF Topic types.
    • Improved BCF Reports export to preserve mixed text formatting within cells and correctly resolve values based on Project Title tags.
  • Improved BCF filtering and workspace customization:
    • Enhanced table filtering with Select All for search results, Clear All Column Filters, and the ability to clear individual column filters.
    • Added Reset BCF Layout and clearer visual indicators for unsaved layout changes.
  • Enhanced BCF document and participant workflows:
    • Expanded Find in Documents to support folders and multiple selected files or folders.
    • Enabled users without Issue editing permissions to view the Participants list in read-only mode.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented linked and uploaded documents from being attached to the same BCF comment.
  • Fixed an issue where different BCF Issues could receive the same Issue Number.

Docs

  • Improved document drag-and-drop functionality, resolving issues that could occur when moving files and folders.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented users from accessing Docs after the module was enabled on an existing project.
  • Improved ZIP downloads to correctly handle files and folders containing Cyrillic characters in their names.
  • Fixed an issue that caused duplicate notifications when a document was uploaded or modified.

Projects

  • Enabled BEXEL CDE projects to operate without the Viewer module. Projects using only BCF, Docs, or both can now be opened and used without requiring Viewer to be enabled.

Mobile

  • Enhanced BCF Issue creation and management in the mobile application:
    • Enabled users to create BCF Issues from saved templates, select Issue subtypes, and create 360 Issues directly from the mobile application.
