The Scenes module in BEXEL CDE allows users to create customized views with saved changes in visibility, camera position, sections and element colors. These scenes are valuable for showcasing floor plans, sections, interiors, elevations, specific work groups, plans, comparing planned versus actual schedules, etc.

The default scene (the one currently active in the BEXEL Manager viewport during publishing to BEXEL CDE) is exported directly from BEXEL Manager. Users can easily organize their scenes by adding folders, creating new scenes, and sharing them as BCF files for efficient collaboration.

  1. Navigate to the Scenes module
  2. Select a scene from the list of created scenes
  3. View of the BIM model in BEXEL Viewer is updated according to the selected Scene
  4. Use New to create new Scenes
  5. A context menu with additional options appears by right-clicking anywhere in the Scene list
  6. Select  Add New Folder for organizing Scenes. In the dialog window, enter a name for the new folder

7. Similar to Step 4, the user can add a new Scene by right-clicking and selecting the Add New Scene option from the context menu

8. When Sources are loaded into the Viewer, the Default Scene is automatically displayed. To set a saved scene as the new default, select the Set As Default option

9. To update a Scene with the current viewpoint, select the Update Scene option

10. Each scene can be renamed by selecting the Rename Scene option

11. To delete a selected scene, choose the Delete Scene option. A confirmation window will appear, allowing the user to confirm the action.
